Be careful welding in this heat and index, I suffered heat exhaustion today after using the torch most of the day and nearly passed out. Doesn't seem to matter how much water you drink on a day like today, it's not enough.

BE CAREFUL!!

Today was much easier! The annual Southern States company equipment inspection was this morning. All but one spray nurse truck passed. The failed one belongs to Mike who is usually a good mechanic, but had his brakes adjusted too tight. He's been going on and on about how everyone else's stuff was gonna fail. Karma bit him. After lunch I finished welding my tender truck bins, then helped at the store showroom remodeling. Going out to finish mowing at Dad's in a while.

Spent half my work day cleaning up the shop, then at noon I went & helped paint & move stock in the sales floor with AC.  Made the day much easier and still productive.  Came home, stopped by Dad's and put new wipers on his car, then home to put a new carb on a weedeater for one of my coworkers who isn't mechanically inclined.  Runs great again.  Then I used my lift table for more than a work bench.  My Uncle's Husqvarna YTH2348 had it's trans come loose at the front & damaged the axle mount tabs.  I just put it up in the air to get a better look.  Got pretty hot, so called it a day.  Ordered him a new drive belt, and will weld up the damage next week.  It's his spare mower now, so no rush.

Will be around! Almost finished with the sales floor remodel at work. On feet most of the day and didn't hurt too bad. Heat index hit 106 today, but only out in it maybe 3 hours.

Hot here too. I was outside for about 2 hours and my shoes looked like I had been wading in them.
