My sister Wanda is in a deep depression.  3 of us kids went to talk to her this afternoon, so we hope to bring her around.  She said she felt everyone was mad at her, but I pointed out 3 of us at once down here trying to bring up her spirits is proof otherwise.

I've been spraying the drives where junk is growing through the gravel, and next to buildings.

Visitation for Mom is Tuesday 3-8 and funeral services at 11am.  I'm going on into work tomorrow, as they really could use me.  Rain coming later in the week, so tomorrow will really be a "push" day.

I'm sure your fathers anger is the main reason your sister feels you all hate her. Feelings never do what we think they should, all we can do is hold each other tight and pray till the hurt starts to fade. We will keep praying for you all from here.

Glad you work for farm people who understand this kind of thing, and glad you have something to take your mind off the pain. Just don't forget that you have feelings to work out too, the strong silent types often bury things too deep. Please don't hesitate to ask for help, we are all here for you, my friend. After all, you've been there for us, too!

Glad you 'kids' put forth the effort to talk to Wanda! Hope that eases her feelings some. It's bad enough to lose someone close, but family issues need to take a back seat during that time!

Just found out one of my 1st cousins passed on. Rickey Perkins was only around 54 years old. Not heard why, but he had health issues.
Work is short handed as it is, so working tomorrow morning, but cutting out in plenty of time for Mom's visitation.

Daniel,
Somehow with all that was going on the last few days and as little as I've been online, I missed this completely.
Karen brought it to my attention.

I am so sorry for your families loss. When we are young, our parents are the strongest things in our lives, as we age the torch gets passed to us and we feel so much more than grief. The extra pressures from family dynamics and the sorrow from our loss can be magnified.
It may not seem like it, but it will ease. At some point the crest will be under you and things will get better. It will be a different form of normal, but eventually it will take the place of the old one.
Hopefully the family discord will lessen. Once everyone realizes they are on the same team and suffering the same loss... The realization will sometimes bring everyone together.
I can't say enough how sorry I am that I'm a couple days behind.
Please know we are sending prayers and hopes for Mom's passing being as easy as possible, for you guys to heal as quickly as possible and for all your grief and trials to be eased by His hand.

My Mom's funeral was today.  All went very well except my sister who has MS started feeling really rough last night, and wasn't up to the funeral today.  Dad held up amazingly well.  I'm pretty worn out, so gonna try & catch a nap, likely won't fall asleep, but I'll try.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your support!  You're a great bunch of friends!
