The corn is up between 3 and 4 feet high here and with all the rain we just got it should keep on filling out well.

Looking at the news, that corn will need snorkels soon.

I am running on fumes after a 15hr day and still not finished...at least another hour, maybe more.
Completely exhausted physically from work and mentally from crazy rumors running through our family concerning Dad and Mom. I'm not able to take much more. I want peace. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Started raining just before 5pm at work yesterday, so we all called it a day.  All of us including the bosses felt strange going home in daylight.  Forgot to ask when to come in this morning, and turns out I coulda slept another hour.  Go in at 8.  Rained enough there surely won't be any fertilize work.  I started on a busted buggy yesterday, so I guess I'll finish that today.  I need to clean out a carb today too on a water wagon for the spray crew.  More than likely it'll be a 5pm sign-out again.   I'm good with that.  I already have over 54 hours in this week as it is.

Rain days are for catching up on maintenance, family stuff, and rest to be able to resume the hectic pace when the weather clears....

Have a good night's sleep!

My Mom's condition has deteriorated the last couple days.  We may lose her within a short time.  Her BP is low and they have her on morphine for the pain from the large tumors.   I hope Dad can handle her passing, but I know it will be extremely hard for him to say the least.  Dad's mind has been slipping for the last few years, but it has gotten extremely bad the last 2 weeks.

We've been through tough times, but they're getting tougher.
