When I was having to use a cane I would occasionally use ti to help me work the clutch. I just put it on my toe and pushed down. It was better than breaking in to tears every time I had to shift gears.

Good idea

Yesterday was a 15hr day.  Ended with my driveshaft dropping out of my transfer truck.  Luckily I was only pulling onto the highway when it happened.  We go it off the highway, and I had just off-loaded all the fertilizer.  Gotta get ready to leave for work now.

Very slow today. One of the guys was put in the Vector spreader this week and I'm tendering him. He's real slow as can be expected as it's all new to him. Just gotta sit and wait.
Got hold of Brad who is buying some of my equipment and tomorrow works best for him, plus it's the only day I have to tend to it anyway. Be glad to get it moved out.

Got 11 more hours overtime today.  40 regular and 30 overtime hours this week.  Ended up tending 3 loads, 2 which were very heavy and went 25 miles down a narrow shoulderless highway that will rock & roll you.  Took Teresa out for supper, then dropped by Josh & Teri's & visited all the grandkids.  Nice evening.

Now since we've hit overdrive everyone works every Saturday.  I'm hoping weather makes this Saturday a short day so we can visit.

I do think in any case that I can get off work in time for us to have at least a few hours o visit.  If it works out, SupplySergeant will be up at the same time.

Yes, it was nice getting home a little after 6pm.  This week has been tough, but I'm still loving it.
