Daniel. I think you will see some improvement in the willingness to do more once temps start warming more! When it's 'cold' here by my standards, I can't get going either!

You're likely right about that.  The colder it is, the more I have aches & pains.  My right calf was swollen from being on my feet most of the day today, so I kicked back in the recliner a while ago, and the swelling left.  It will do this the rest of my life they tell me.

Yep! Been having those type of issues for some time now. Seems like the more I'm vertical in a day, the tighter my shoes get!

Been back-sliding lately, but making it to church today finally.   Being this is my Father-in-Law's first Valentine's Day since he lost my Mom-in-Law Betty, we're making him our Valentine today & taking him out for a good meal.

Yep, when it is cold outside I tend to stay in and work on projects inside.  Trouble is I start growing around the middle! :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging:

Welcome to the club Daniel! :D

Had a great meal, but snow hit and roads are covered. Very slick! Leaving for home soon.

Made it home.  Roads totally white and hard to tell where you are till you hit a rumple strip.  Not being able to use cruise control, my right leg started cramping up.  Got behind cars going only 20mph, so took 3 times longer to make it.  National weather service called for up to 2" today, then 2" more tonight.  Well, we already have about 3 1/2" and came fast and still coming.  The Jeep Grand didn't mind the snow at all, but I did!   It really wouldn't have been bad at all, but the brand new windshield wipers were making a mess and of course only in my natural line of vision.  So for 20 miles I had to hunch down to see below the smear the wipers were leaving.  Why is it when wipers do this it is ALWAYS in your normal line of vision?  Never below nor above!

Oh well, we're home.  But Paw is driving home from here, so hope he has no issues.  He has AWD, so he'll be fine if there's not an idiot out there to give him, a problem.

I had intended to go to Lowes & get some cutoff wheels for my angle grinder, and to an auto store to get copper oil line, but the way the snow was coming down, and the way people were driving, I just came on home after Teresa & her Dad got some groceries.

I've bought several sets of wind shield wipers. Expensive(40 bucks a set). Cheap (10 bucks a set) and they all wear out as fast and the same way. Streaks right in front of your face. Always the driver side...

Can you still by wiper refills? I remember dad always replacing the rubber not the whole wiper

Thing is, my wipers are only 3 weeks old!  They seemed like a fresh set, supple as could be, but did horribly in this snow.  These were $10 Anco.  As far as simple refills, I've not seen any for some time.

Police are asking people to stay off roadways now.  Interstate 65 is a complete mess, and almost at standstill just north of Bowling Green, Ky.  Snow is likely affecting interstate 75 by now as well.

I hope that storm you are getting goes north or weakens before hitting us! Supposed to start snowing here this evening but they are calling for 1" or so tonight and a total of 3 by tomorrow.

Nice snowy day!  So far about 4" on the ground here.  They say my area is to have a total of 4 to 8".  But with plenty more snow coming, it is looking like 6" for us here.

At home a few minutes ago.

The last pic is the sidewalk after snow shoveling.  hard to see, but the sides are 4" or higher, and sidewalk has another 1/2"  after shoveling just a few minutes ago.
