WAY easier today getting the heifers to come over to the other feeders.   After a day without silage they were much more eager to go over there.  It still took a few minutes, but they got there.  2 of the heifers I'm raising for Brad didn't go over, but I didn't need those anyway.  Called Brad and he'll be here later in the day.  I still have to separate the 27 that will for sure stay, but letting them eat the silage for now.  It won't take long separating them being they are in headlocks where I can release them individually.

You mean the "Farm Show" mag?  I know it's been in there twice, so maybe a 3rd time?

Sold 21 heifers today.  $100 less per head than last time I sold some, but still a decent price for today's markets, plus I didn't have to make 4 trips to the market to haul them all being Brad comes & gets them.

Did some repairs to a barn today, covering the wood with old roofing, but lots more to do.  Gotta get it covered before wood gets too weather beaten.  Many of the boards had already been beaten up by the cows, so one small section I removed the remaining boxing and replaced with roofing.  Going to get a few needed supplies tomorrow before doing more.

Shoulders and hands bothering me a lot more tonight, but I took the first pain pill in a few days, and it's mellowing it out.  Been pretty busy, then hammering nails didn't help, but the work needs done regardless.  I'm not pushing myself though.

Wasn't able to sleep till after 2am, then slept late and woke with a headache. Then found the water line to the barn has a leak. Just shut that line off for now. Just left TSC getting more oil and bolts with coupons about to expire. Ate Mexican for lunch and it was good! May not do much else today unless I get feeling better. I'd rather feel good and be working my tail off.

Take a day off. Work will still be there after you are rested some.

I haven't been sleeping much lately. Last night I was in bed at 930!

I never rests it seems.  Always worrying about stuff.  I know, worrying is a fatal flaw, and I'm flawed!  One good thing, turning off the barn water stopped the leak.  I can deal with that way down the line....summertime if I want, or even later.

If you went north to the TSC, I have an appointment in town there next week and would like to know the name of the restaurant with GOOD Mexican food.

I went south to Cambellsville and ate at "Garcia's".  I've never ate at the Mexican places in E-town, but everybody seems to love "Los Nopales" at 1306 N Dixie Hwy, Elizabethtown.

I had a fitful night also! Hope to snooze good tonight!

I hope we BOTH do Kenny!

Once I got home, I took a pain pill and started feeling much better.  I did some more barn repair.   1st pic I have put used roofing on the right side exterior, and will go all the way across to the left 6' up, cutting off the old aluminum on the left up 6', pulling off the old boxing, then used steel roofing.

Took the twins to Grandma Grandpa on our way back to Indiana, while there JJ ask ask ur dad for a ride on the super 90 MF only he wanted his Pappy to drive lol, so it wasn't the engine noise that scared him when you gave him a ride, it was you lol.
On another note just so u no when Grandpa jumped up to go start the 90 I asked him to stay put (cuz u told me about his breathing) but he wouldn't have it, so I let it go, but when we came back he labored with his breathing for about 20 minutes b4 he went back to normal. Then he talked about his new breathing medicine.
Talk to you Uncle

Got the right side & middle sections repaired.  Had to replace the bottom 5' of one 4x4 and anchored with 2 lead anchors & lag bolts to the concrete.  Then spudded on 2x4's to the 4x4 to stiffen the joint.

Now on to the left side.  Once done the other end of the barn needs all the same done.
