Nice you got out, Daniel. I'm sure it felt good!!

Sure did!  After 3 trips to the shop, I actually got the tractor shafts aligned & she has a few bolts in that pulled her all the way together.  Did it all without straining at all.  Then went to Fred's to see how he's feeling after his bout with his huge kidney stone.  I made Teresa go to town for a break from me, and she just arrived home.  Been a great day!

Sounds like you had a great day, but you still have to make sure you don't over do it. Great to hear your feeling better also. Life will be back to normal before you know, so don't push to fast.

Glad you got some sleep! Now, what's this about working on a tractor? I think you have it figured out what you can/cannot do! Happy Healing!

My former milk hauler may have a buyer for our milk tank & cooler system.  Hoping to hear from the guy today.  Not worth a mint, but it's money either way.  I bought the used system installed for 10 grand plus trade in of my older well working tank & cooler system only because we needed a larger tank at the time.  I priced it at 6 grand, and him do all the removal.

Have you considered beer? Micro breweries are all the rage these days, and it would boost plow day attendance!

But a brewery might cut down on the straightness of the furrows.

Crooked rows have more yield unless you cultivate.

Dairy Brew!

Cow Farmer's Folly

Kefir, keefir, or kephir (/kəˈfir/ kə-FEER), alternatively milk kefir, or búlgaros, is a fermented milk drink made with kefir "grains" (a yeast/bacterial fermentation starter) and has its origins in the north Caucasus Mountains. It is prepared by inoculating cow, goat, or sheep milk with kefir grains.

Hey, I've had (literally) drunken cows before from drinking the squeezins coming from our former upright silo's.  They sure were much happier cows than even those on those "California Happy Cow" commercials!

Dang I wish it was warm out like yesterday, but only 60*F and damp/rainy.  Putting on a warm coat hurts my neck & area around my neck surgery, so I'm basically trapped inside.  :boo_hoo:

Anyone watch "Building Wild"?  They had an episode where they built a cabin for a father/ son.  The Father is a dairy farmer and the son worked in a brewery and wanted to start making his own beer.  They called the beer Dairyair Ale with the hind end of the cow on the label. Might be something to get into Daniel. :smilewink:
