I am flat wore out & sun burnt. Guess I wasn't in enough pain lol  (Sun kinda snuck up hight on me) it was a beautiful day for sure, enjoyed taking down that fence, it felt good. Oh Uncle,  if you get the chance, post the other pic of me and grandpa or text it to me, I like that one better then the surprise pic u took lol. We'll see ya at the hospital tomorrow, or rather we'll see you, you'll be out of it I'm sure, and we'll be praying throughout.

That pic is before the surprise pic....check previous pages.

Make sure you get plenty of rest after before throwing yourself back into the work.

All the best Daniel.

Dr. said 2 weeks doing nothing. On 3rd week he can pittle around. I told the Dr. when Daniel pittles around it's on heavy equipment, he just looked @ me and didn't say anything.

What Dr.s call pittleing around we call doing nothing at all, lol. Our interpretation of pittle would be a full days work to them. I know it'll be hard, but just try to take it easy Daniel.

Guess I should of been posting whats been happening on the farm but with all going on I forgot.

Thursday we pulled up all the fence poles. Josh on MF FEL, Grandpa in Pickup pulling 15ft trailer, me wrapping chain round poles and throwing them into trailer.IMG_54461.jpg

Today Josh & I got the bush hog out and changed gear oil in one box then added grease in the other, then mowed the side of one hill, tethering the alfalfa and grass on the other hills. If weather permits rake and bail tomorrow

How long are u going to be there BB. Did you once say something about bringing your camper down and where is the nearest place to park it. If schedule permits I would still like to come down but choice is tow the camper or stay in motel. Any ideas are appreciated. I hope "old pain in the neck" is recovering nicely. I,m sure he will be uncomfortable for a while. Do you think wife and I can be of any help without being in the way?

I'll be here through Monday and leave Tuesday morning. I did bring my camper down and parked it in my my Mom & Dads driveway (Daniel's Sister) which is just down the hill from Daniels. This is my first long trip with this RV and I've decided this is the furthest I will ever pull this RV, about 345 miles. In a hotel I would of just been to far away, with the RV I can be right here on the farm with easy access. I was worried about weather I would be helpful or not, thinking I would have to be taught b4 doing, taking twice as long. But I had spent a few summers working here on the farm when I was younger and as things were explained to me it kinda came back to me and I was comfortable with it and if I wasn't, then something else was found for me to do, get a hold of Daniel talk to him, and you'll no quickly if you will be helpful or not.

Felt worn out last night,,but decent. Sleep however wasn't, I woke up every hour or 45 minutes. I enjoyed company that I had most of the day, but it took it's toll on me. Ran a fever 1/2 the night, gone this morning.
The pain at times is mind boggling, almost un bearable. Running fever at times, but gone at the moment.
And Craig has been an awesome help!  Baler tie system has been giving Josh fits, but he may hasve figured outthe issue. If so, he will finish rolling todsy.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing a lot of pain, Daniel. Praying that your pain will subside soon and that you will bend swiftly. What ever you do don't overdo it.

Josh got the hay roller tie mechanism working, and the first cutting is in. Josh asked what it would all make & I guessed up to 70+.  It rolled out 72 bales, so this old fart still knows something!
