Looks to be about a foot of snow and still falling. What a mess and terrible timing.

Yes, more stress so I'm taking my time. Not out the door yet. Kept waking up during the night. Snow is drifted. I'll start milking first and feed silage a bit later when sun starts coming up so I can see better.

I didn't sleep much either. Slow and easy is the best way to go this morning. Hope there are no issues in the parlor!

At least 12" snow now, and still light snow, drifts up to 2' deep, maybe 3' in some spots.  Just got the Cat loader fueled up.  Yesterday didn't get the job done.  Gonna make a single pass out the road, then clean my farm drives.  Sure wish a state blade truck would come through before I get started.  Way too much going on!

My plant in Etown is closing early for the day. Seems like not to many people showed up anyway, you all got hammered. We were supposed to get 6-21", I mamanged a whole 1 1/2" at the house, seems it all stayed about 50 miles south and across middle Ky

Just finished opening 2 1/2 miles of road.  When I got to the highway there was an SUV stuck in deep snow where he got off too far to allow another vehicle by (only one lane open).  A fella in a 4WD pickup was trying to help him out, but as I finished our road's highway approach, I knew he couldn't get him out.  Once I finished our approach, I went out & pulled the SUV out.  While getting hooked up, a larue county deputy came along & put on his blue lights till we got him out.  I think about a dozen vehicles went by, but really, nobody needs to be on the roads unless it's an emergency.
