Yesterday I was on milking duty, but I did work on the new shop for 2 to 3 hours, till I got heartburn, then sick in my stomach.  Got the milking done & survived.

Today the normal morning milking, then I worked on the new shop a bit.  Then after lunch I put fresh sawdust in 96 stalls.  Then I went back to the shop for a little while.  I got inside stringers up, 3 1/2" insulation batting put in, then 6 sheets of interior metal.  All this I did by myself, so yes, I'm doing pretty good.  Then I fed tonight's silage, did some farm paperwork, now about to eat some supper.  Been a good day today!  Here's a pic of today's shop work.

Looks really good Daniel, your moving right along with it. Ever try a tablespoon of vinegar for heartburn. I use Apple Cider vinegar when I get heartburn, knocks it right out.

Wow you've been busy. I'am out of touch with stuff .I didn't even know you built a new shop. Looks like you'll have lots of room to work on stuff out of the weather. Always nice to be working indoors and on concrete floor. Like most shops you think there big enough but eventually they seem to get smaller with the usual clutter.Just curious how far apart are the truss's [rafters].

Larry, trusses are set at 3 feet. Leaving metal working tools at the old shop will help keep down clutter in this shop.

I wouldn't have to worry about heartburn after that cause I would have puked it all out after the vinegar :(

Larry, in the last pic, that 12' section is part of the original machinery shed, so it's an open span of 12' between doubled boxed together trusses.  Haven't decided how to do that interior section just yet.  May just insulate & tin over the existing high ceiling, or may put a flat ceiling 2' higher than the rest of the shop's 11' ceiling to leave room for a post lift should we ever be able to afford one.

For my heartburn I usually just a tablespoon of honey, normally settles my stomach pretty quick.

I get what I think is gall bladder attacks, docs say it's just a acidic stomach, cramps up my chest and feels like a belt tightening around my ribs and hard to breath, it lasts for days sometimes.

Shop is looking good Daniel, you will be moving in before you realize.

Not as much accomplished today.  My Mom-in-law had surgery, so Teresa is at the hospital (surgery went great!) to get a cyst taken off one kidney.  So my grandson Case stayed with Josh at home most of the day while I worked on the shop.  But I needed to watch Case while Josh got a new calf & momma cow in.  Case has a cough, so I fed silage early & called it a farm work day to stay with Case.  My back was killing me anyway, so I didn't mind cutting the day short.

I called the garage door guy & found I needed to make a change to the 12' door opening.  Seems he needed more side clearance at the wall end, so I am bolting a 6x6 to the end corner 6x6 so there will be plenty of room for the door hardware. This door will now be 11 1/2' wide.  I now have both door openings completely boxed in.  He'll be coming to check it all out before he orders just to be sure.
