Forgot to mention, but today I cranked up most all my diesel GT's and one F935 mower just to jog them & charge the batteries.  I decided to mow some with the JD 430.  Was nice smelling the fresh mowed grass!  I actually have more that could use clipping.  Might do some more mowing sometime tomorrow.

Four of mine are done jogging for the year. In storage in daughters garage. Fifth one has snow blower on it waiting for the call to duty. Been thinking I,d like to make a snow cab for it. Have you ever done that or got any ideas?

Glad you got some GT and seat time in Daniel! That'll help! I may get a mower out and mulch some leaves in this weekend.

Speaking of barn cats , we help with a rescue operation to help with overflow . They all come here fixed . One used to be a house cat we think but it seemed to be content to be outside .

Last winter was so nasty it wanted it to warm up . to make the story shorter , it has been inside since .  The cats from the rescue operation are left with front claws for protection . They know how to use them .

Back on topic  -  Happy Thanksgiving  to you Dan .

No, never built a cab, but there are fellas here that have.  Maybe do a shout-out post.

Happy Thanksgiving Daniel, It sure is good to hear you got seat time in and ran most all the equipment you have sitting around. Guess to you'll have to wait a couple more days before mowing anymore !!

Dad is not feeling good at all the last 2 weeks.  Urinary tract infection has taken him down low.  I think I may take him to Acute Care tomorrow.  Got a feeling they'll admit him to the hospital, but just have to wait & see.  Medical problems just keep happening here.  I don't know how much more Dad can take.  He's tough though....he might live past 100, and I hope so....unless he ends up bed ridden.  He'll be miserable if he isn't at least somewhat independent.  I'll go out after milking in the morning to see what needs to be done.

It is hard to bear constant health issues, and now it's my health as well.  But it is what it is, and I have to help Dad no matter what.  So many of my family are ill, so help is thin.  Besides, Dad has always been there for me, so I will be there for him whenever possible.  I sure hope & pray he feels better tomorrow.
