Yep, it's Monday!  First thing as soon as I finished milking, Teresa texts me she needs help in the calf barn.  A large heifer broke the gate down into the barn where the small weaned calves stay.  The little ones are out in an open field, and the big heifer has her oversize head stuck in the small calf headlocks.  Got her out, then went to get the little ones back in.  Instead of stepping off the concrete feeder pad & simply walking the corner & into the barn, 3 of them decide to go through the electric fence, taking out 2 wires, insulators, etc.   :wallbanging:   Calves can be SO stupid!     Now to go bed the milk cow's free stalls with fresh sawdust.  The fence can wait till later in the day, as I have the cows locked out of the stalls already.

Not a good start to the week for sure. But the milk prices should start going up now that you have a major brand advertising for the dairy farmers. Check out the Donimo's thread I posted about you. It will get better.

I'll have to check out the Domino's ad.  Got the stalls dusted, and heading to Southern States COOP, for some calf feed & minerals.

Just bought another GT this morning without leaving the place or even getting online.  I had 4 tires on aluminum wheels in my way for 3 years now, and my buddy sold them for me.  Got $200.  He dropped by to give me the cash & he told me if I wanted the 224 Case he had to hand him the cash back......I did!  Been sitting inside the last 3 years, but I KNOW for a fact it ran fine when parked!  :rolling:

Just 2 miles from here & will pick up this week sometime.

Hey Brian (TD&H)....he's an OTR driver and was just by your place this week.  He could have hauled you & your tractors up here for plow day....but you'd have been stuck here over a week and had no way back!  :smilewink:
