Good to hear that everything went well with Dad. We've had several storms today.  I would rain for about 1/2 hour then the sun would come out and a while later here comes another one.

Milking is done and I can relax tomorrow!  My knees are bothering me more than they ever have, but still tolerable....well, I have no choice anyway! Sprinklers were working pretty decent!   Cows are happy, so that's all we need.  Will replace hoses next week.  Now for a shower & "butt in a recliner" time!

And I'll give Dad your well wishes!

Milked the cows, ate breakfast, then time to get some things done.  Put a new tube in a rear of my Bush Hog V4-6, a tube in the left front of my John Deere 430, then went to mowing.  Got everything mowed nice & pretty.  Teresa mowed tight areas with the push mower, and we both weed eated.  Her with the 18V cordless, me with my refreshed 4 stroke Troy Bilt.  Now time to get a shower to head for a family reunion.  So far a productive & trouble free day!

Got back & been "trying" to get a little done on the Bush Hog V4-6.  But it's been so long since dismantling, I'm having problems finding all the switches, cables, & such.  Spent all my time looking instead of accomplishing anything, but then just sitting down with it is an accomplishment I reckon.

Any time spent with your hobby is an accomplishment. I dropped a minibike off for powder coating last week. I am excited.

I did find the cables, a light switch, and the stainless dash panel, but I'm still missing a belt guide, a key switch, and some other smalls.  I may go look some more in a while.

I understand all you are saying, Daniel! I wasn't sure I could get the AC 416 back together!

Milked, got the field finished as far as bush hogging, then used the Massey 1655's FEL with bucket to smooth, back-drag, and level dirt where we're putting the new shop.  Dad did the big work with the Cat loader, then I came in & got close to the existing shed and tight areas.  This afternoon I have some electrical work to do out back of the parlor for the cooling fans.

Sounds like the new shop will be moving right along quickly. Glad to hear you got some shop time on the little Hog.

I have tons of more pressing work to do, but Dad is itching to stay busy as he can be.  Guess we'll help when we can, otherwise he'll have to hack at it himself.  I wasn't in a position to start the shop right now.   Guess if we waited till I had time, it would never get started though.

Very little time for the V4-6, but anything is better than no time at all.

2 more hours on the Massey w/FEL.  Moving compressed sawdust bales to the stalls, placing molasses lick tubs, and a little more dirt moving.  I have no idea how I got by before I put this together!

Gotta go finish the sawdust spreading, then feeding time for the herd.  Not sure if I'm gonna go pick up my chipper/shredder later or not.  Pretty tired already, and more to go.  Might get put off to tomorrow.  Never rained today like they called for.

Oh, and the garage will be 42x40.  We had thought we might go 45x40, but that was pushing it out there close to the driveway.  This means a 30 addition to the shed, using 12" of existing shed as garage.  30' added works better for lumber and metal siding/roofing also.
