My fingers are longer than my palm, so no problem filling the finger part of a glove.

Looking to start poo hauling in a few minutes.  Temp is 20F out, and didn't get down to 16F like they said.

nice and firm for hauling  now but will get greasy in a couple hours  I would imagine.

I can't help it, but every time you start talking about hauling poo, I'm reminded of a video game that #1 son had for the N64 called "Conker's Bad Fur Day".  It had some parts in it that weren't exactly 'kid safe' but he was 12-13 by then and there really wasn't anything in it that he hadn't already heard buy that time.

One of the 'bosses' was called "The Great and Mighty Poo", and the battle with him was hilarious.  especially the "Opera Song" he sings.

Here's a link to a video of it. Be warned that the "S-word" for poo is used in it, so if you find that offensive, please don't click on it.

Ground is fine so far, and I expect it'll stay ok.  We didn't get but maybe a half inch of snow.  Had issues with poo frozen in impeller housing, sheared a bolt, then beat the frozen poo out.  Hauling fast as we can till dairy chore time.  In for quick lunch.

Decent progress today, and no breakdowns once I got that shear bolt replaced first thing this morning, and I put the new battery in the MF2745 I'm using.  We should finish up tomorrow if nothing breaks on us.  Wind gusts will be 30-40mph, but wind out of the south, and we will be driving into the wind when spreading.  Worn flat out, so may pass out in my recliner later.....AFTER I watch OB's video link.

Yep, I passed out in my recliner a bit after 7 while attempting to watch some TV.  Got almost an hour & a half of sleep. In an hour or so I'll go to bed.

Milking done, breakfast finished.  Now to go top off the engine oil in my MF2745, then time to wrap up the "Spring Poo Fling".  Gonna be nice getting this completed finally, after so many rains stopping us.  Once finished, the tank frames need some cracks repaired before parking.

its always a good thing to get the repairs done while your still thinking about them, otherwise a person will forget , and the next time you want to use it .........well

EXACTLY!  Usually I put things like this off, only to be way behind when I go to use it again.  Not this time!

I need to get my lame cows trimmed before I go to the wagon.  And then I may have to get the new rub rails installed on the one side of the parlor first too.  The parlor rails are in bad shape, and no patching them if they fail.  The wagon I can patch if needed.  Then I still have the Cat loader I have to pull the engine to replace the torque converter seal, but that will be a summertime job for sure.
