We won't get a cold as you will, but we are dropping fast here also. 56 at 7AM this morning and will be down to 30 by 6PM tonight. Ice, rain and maybe a few flurries over night. That will make for another interesting drive to work tomorrow!!

We are suppose do be way down there tonight, -15* to -17* with probably -30* wind chill. That's pretty cold for our area since we haven't had a cold winter in the last 2-3 yrs. Duke is cutting our plant gas supply tonight so I will probably at home tomorrow. Schools are already starting to close for tomorrow too.

Daniel, stay warm my friend, I know it's rough out there doing the farm work and keeping animals warm and watered.

My poor old rooster has a frost bitten comb and I have them locked up in barn with a heat lamp!

It's darn chilly here. Just ran to the store for a few things and the wind cut right on through! We had some pretty good gusts over night.

Ended up going back out to get some things done.  Got a cow in from the dry field that I'll be selling tomorrow.  She was a fresh heifer that got coliform mastitis & nearly died.  She's recovered well & put on good weight.  Then I fired up the MF1655D & used it's FEL to scrape out the stall alleys one last time before the deep freeze sets in tonight.  Also got the cattle trailer hooked to the truck & pulled down next to the parlor to make things quicker tomorrow.  Silage fed early, so I am finished for the day.......and tired.  Cold weather working sure wrings a guy out!

Yea it was 58 here today as well.  But the cold weather is coming our way and get this, they are forecasting a winter storm for middle GA.  They have just included Atlanta in the zone but not northern GA.  I have never seen this!

It's Da**ed cold here today after being nearly 70°F yesterday! Not sure if the wind chill ever got above 0. Can't get the Weather Channel thanks to Direct TV dropping it.

Tropical here as it only got down to 4F instead of predicted below zero, but wind chill is 7 below.  Milking finished, sell cows separated, and getting cleaned up soon to take Dad for blood work.

All kinds of records are falling I guess.

Must be a huge challenge for you.

Won't be long now Daniel, and you'll be starting up the garden.

-9* on my Tahoe this morning, wind chills close to -20*, bbbbrrrrrr!!!!

Duke cut the gas supply back on us at work, no heat in our lab. Glad it holds the heat, 69* in here now, hopefully they will give us some gas in a few hours so we can warm it back up.
