I'll be lucky if I can lay there till 8am.  I'm so used to getting up at 5.  But I'll give it a try!

Sleeping in can be habit forming and should be avoided at all costs. Like a couple of other things...........

I wouldn't risk it.

I've never had the luxury of being able to sleep in (maybe once in a great while). And that "Early to bed" thing does not work as it should!

I typically wake up between 5 and 6 on my days off so I know how you guys feel, I however like waking up early. I always get more accomplished when I do. I usually get up around 3 on my days on my road so 5 feels like sleeping in anyways lol

At least grab a nap today if yo can.

I'm the same way, I was awake before 6 this morning, tried to lay in bed for a bit, but with the wife sleeping next to me.....IT's 8:30 and she is still in bed, I ended uyp getting up. I cannot sleep in on my off day s even if i tried.

We got about an inch of snow/ice last night and we have my daughter's Bday party today so out I go.

Well guys, I slept till 9am, first time past 7am or so in months, maybe longer.  Yes, I get more accomplished when I get up early, but then I'm not worried about making accomplishments today.  Today is going to be a day to relax.  The fact I never woke before my usual alarm time is one thing, but to sleep till 9 tells me I was doing what I needed to.....sleep!  Waiting for my coffee to brew now.

You needed the rest and it's a good thing you got it! Being well rested makes everything seem more manageable.

It's raining out, so a good day to do much of nothing!  :smilewink:   I will play with the HD-12 Hog a bit, and likely drop by to visit Dad.  He wants some Ball Hollow well water!

Dad called just after the post above.  He's doing good, but will still be a week or 2 before coming home, just in time for Christmas.  My sister Angela is having him & Mom picked up tomorrow for her family Christmas dinner.  Taking him the Ball Hollow water and his favorite house shoes this afternoon.
