Logan's Roadhouse for supper!  Yep, starting to relax!  But Teresa had to stay home to watch Case in the morning, and this is just the 3rd night in 20 years we've been apart.  Don't like that part.   She's not my better half, she's my better 3/4's!

Yea, I don't like it when Sherry and I are apart at night.  You know you could have brought one of the dairy farm ladies with ya.  :rolling:

I hate it when Steph is gone. I hate it when she goes to class. I feel like part of me is gone. We are together for nearly 24 hours a day at time and we want to kill each other then we have to be apart for a while and I nearly go nuts. She spent 4 days in Georgia with her Dad and grandparents and I thought I was going to have to be committed before she came home.

These Olde Deeres hear you!! When you're married to the right one, even a trip for parts is too much time apart. Two of the worst times in my life were when she was in the hospital having the kids--- wonderful because of the babies, but awful because we were apart.

Today was just a day to tinker around in my shop, do a little mowing, and get my chimney ready for furnace venting.  The dang starlings actually destroyed the light gauge welded wire that was mortared into the chimney top to prevent them building nests in the spring.  So I had to light fire & drop a rag with some diesel down the chimney to burn out the nest.  Once it burned through, I cut some stainless expanded steel  & used a piece of all-thread to secure it over the inverted V chimney top.  NO WAY the pesky varmints can get past that!  Played with my Perkins diesel engines in the shop.  Was a great day!  Not a single thing went wrong!   :dancingbanana:

Glad you mentioned chimenys, I have to tear down rebuild about 8 courses on my mom's house. The top cap and a bunch of bricks are just crumbling, good thing dad saved some when he built it in 1977.

amazing what these animals can do, squirrels are about the worst.

Before dad put a screen on top of theirs, we had a mallard duck get down in there, took us a while to figure out why there was noise coming from the fireplace insert! :D

Gonna be busy today.  Lots of mowing to do, and need to get all the manure equipment hooked up to the tractors so we can start tomorrow hauling poo.  Have a flat tire on one tractor to repair.
