I will bet this month will exceed 200 votes, most of them in the final days, cause this will be a tough decision.

Without trying to "jinx" it here. I would say also, that we will probably get over 200 votes this month.I can't wait to see them all.

Maynard, at this rate of I end up with over 10% of those votes I would be impressed. There are a lot of great entries this month, and a lot of talented craftsman (maybe the pun and compliment will get me a couple more votes lol).

I might update my entry again but at this point I have lowered expectations with all the great customs. Really surprised that Ray hasn't nominated his Shaw Duall rider, or any other of his reengineered tractors.

I have also been waiting for Ray to drop in. I thought I would see his ridemaster cart in the mix early on. Maybe he cant decide which one to nominate...

I'll say it's tough.
And I'll also refrain from entering. I've got a restore, re-power, and some modifications. But this contest is for the real freakazoids and, boy, there's some good ones. This has been the best thread to read yet.

Dean, at this point mine is a box store with abnormal bolt ons (which is accurate lol) and is no match for the true talent in the room. I might as well pull out and try next month lol.

We are now taking nominations for featured tractor of the month for May 2012.

The theme for this month is Modified / Custom. This is for all the guys with custom or modified garden tractors. Your tractor must be completely custom or modified from it's stock form. It doesn't matter if they are restored or not.

I also can't emphasize enough to please provide at least 2 paragraphs for the description of you tractor. The winner is going to be featured on the GTtalk home page and will also be in the LAGT magazine. This is your chance to shine.

Here are the rules:

  • Tractor being nominated must not have been a featured in the last 12 months.
  • Please give at least a two paragraph description to tell us about your tractor.
  • You need 2 photos attached to your post as attachments, not linked from another site, the year make and model, and a brief description of your history with the tractor and what you use it for most.
We will accept up to 15 nominations, this thread will be closed after the 15th nomination. Once 15 nominations are made we will start a new thread for the voting. Voting will run to the end of the current month and on the 1st of the following month the winner will be featured on the GTtalk Home Page and in our Featured Tractors section.

Rules subject to change to better work for everyone. Good luck!

Does it have to be completed or can it be in the thought and parts collecting phase, I'm working on what I'm calling a John Deere 221 H1 or two could be three not sure on that yet.

Not that I don't want to see you nominate your tractor but I think it might be best if it was completed or mostly complete. If it is mostly complete you can nominate it.
