Looking good Daniel, I got mine tilled again today. I wish mine was as dry as yours looks.

Man your lucky around here where I'm at most people don't plant until after May 24. Risk of frost up till then.

edit changed Mar to May.

Broccoli is very cold tolerant. It takes a solid freeze to kill it.

Thanks for the post and the pic Daniel. My wife always says to plant after Mother's Day to avoid frost. I know some things can go into the garden before that, but we have to pick the right type of plant for our area.George did get our garden plowed yesterday with his big Massey. That BIG RED MACHINE did an awesome job.We may not have a green thumb in the family but we hope to have a better garden this year.Your post gives me some hope.

Same here. We can get frost into June so most people don't plant until at least the May 24 long weekend. You have to be careful even then.
I just don't have the space to plant a large garden here. It's all trees and rocks and not much topsoil. Your garden is positively huge Daniel compared to what we have here. It's nice to see planting starting up again for another year.

Looking good Dan. My main garden will be late. Strawberries are looking good with lots of small green berries and full bloom.

Looks good. I got peas, cucumbers and corn planted about 2 weeks ago, could have waited a few more weeks, but I'll take my chances with frost. Mostly what I seem to be growing is "nutgrass" or perhaps "Nutsedge". :wallbanging: . Naturally it sprang up right after I planted. I could send my kids out to weed, but somehow I'm not sure they see the difference between weeds and crops. Put in three whole tomatoe plants yesterday.

Nice looking garden Daniel. Your soil looks black like ours. Just picked up some seeds today and will wait a few weeks yet before planting. I'm having a terrible time controlling myself though.
