Is there a reference sheet for identifying small engines that covers all the major makers? (Kholer, Onan, Tecumseh, Briggs and Stratton, Wisconsin etc.) One that goies through the basic model numbers and HP ratings. ie. HH120=cast iron block 12hp, OH120=cast iron block overhead valve 12hp, and so on for the manufacterers above.

It might, since if no booklet exists, then I will attempt to make one.

That's going to take quite a bit of work and time......
but that would be helpful to have one

i'm (finally) coming back to this after some searching, and found that no book appears to exist. So i think we, the members of Gttalk should make one. Any takers?

I have access to about any Briggs information you would want if that helps and could probably dig up a bunch of the rest. Time is the issue here.

It would take time, as long as you have the drive to do it.
