I welded the coupler on, it was for a 2 1/2 inch channel but I needed a 3 inch, so I had to cut it some. I HATE painting stuff with a brush, so my mom and sister are painting the frame now. LOL!

Here is a pic of the frame after the first coat it got yesterday. (this is the bottom) It will need another coat but its raining so it will have to wait until tomorrow.

I need a hose fitting, one of the barb fittings for the end of the hose. The hose I am using has 3/8 inside diameter and a 5/8 outside diameter. Is the one below the right one for this hose? The "1/4 NPT" is throwing me off. Is that just the size of the hole that goes through it?

That is the right fitting, 3/8" hose with 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread, normal air line fittings).

That's a nice color and it looks like a couple of skilled painters were involved.
Thanks for the update.

Thanks guys! I was going to order the fittings last night, it was almost $20 for shipping between the barb fitting and a clamp! That's not going to happen! I will get them some place local.

Coming right along Ryan. The paint turned out good, give those ladies a hand. I know what you mean, sometimes it's best to buy locally because of the shipping. I hate it though when you call some place to see if they have something and you get someone who knows nothing about their product lines and you wind up having to drive to several places to get what you want.

Thanks Guys!

Chris, I have no idea what color green it is. I will look next time I am in the garage. About two years ago, my brother posted an ad on craigslist asking for paint. He needed paint for a demolition car. Some guy who has been a painter for the last twenty years told him to come to his house, and take anything he wanted. I did not go, but apparently the guy had a garage and a shed full of paint, some new some almost empty. My brother took about twenty-five cans of paint. We went through it and about fifteen cans were still good.

Local would be best on the hose fitting. Most Automotive places should have one.
From the sounds of thing, I think you have enough paint to invent your own color! LOL
