Yes, I'd say you did really good. It looks to be in very nice shape. I'm glad you were able to post the photographs.

Really nice Sears. It's always a good day when you can get a nice GT with all those attachments at a very nice price. Congratulations!

Thanks guys. As a newbie I "thought" it was a good deal and didnt' want to miss out...but after I pulled the trigger those little doubts started nagging at me! :confuse: Either way I have it and hope I can get it going mechanically for now. The tractor may be a candidate for restoration at a later date...looking it over it's in even better shape than I thought at first!

Yep the pictures prove it, YOU DID GOOD :laughingteeth:
Looks like a lot of potential there. My brother lives right in St Johns, always nice to see another Michigander on here.

Yep, looks good. I think you did real well at that price, with all the attachments.
I sure wish I could find one of those tillers.

Wendel, think I'll keep it for now.

The only accessory I'd like to add is a 10 inch plow. Found an older ad on craigslist for $110.00. Is that a decent price. By the way I am sherwood I'm pretty sure the guy had a snow blower and tiller as well. Michigan isn't that far from Ontario! Oops just noticed you said NORTHERN Ontario. That could be a LONG ways from Michigan!

Will, George made a long road trip to your house. Maybe you could use our network of folks here to get it closer to you!

English,
I would be interested in the tiller if it has a decent price tag. If you could please send me the Craigslist link.

Also since I bought the JD 140 H3 I will be selling the 1976 SS16 I bought last month. Pulling a lever is a lot easier on the repaired shoulder than lifting the entire attachment.

Thanks,
Bill

You did good...I bought the same machine with a deck and snowblower for $200......with the tiller, I would have gladly paid $300

Bill, after looking at this thing again I don't think it's what you want. But here's the link.

I'm contemplating your other statement! lol
