Found a decent rig tonight and bought it, rides and drives like a Lexus , boy have I been missing the bus.... And it was very reasonable too, best of all it has a very nutsy v6, so it should be decent on fuel.

Keith, is that the 3.4L or the newer 4.0L V6. I had a T100 with the 3.4 and loved it, except towing trailer uphill, wished it had the 4.0.

Bought a tundra with the 4.7L V8 and loved it for about 2 months before I had to fix something every other month. Had kept the T100 and went back to driving it. Until it got totaled...

Went back to the tundra for transportation while I bought another T100 and did an engine swap of the old one's engine. Sold the tundra and ended up trading the T100 for a Ford.

Only tundra that's a good tundra is a V6 tundra in my book, good score.

Have more to add. My T100 with 3.4L was capable of 22 mpg on flat roads no problem. Tundra V8 was as expected, gas hog. Careful with traction on that Tundra, I put mine in a ditch once because the back ends are really light, especially with the V8 mine had. I could spin the tires easing into to throttle before reaching 1100 Rpm. Finally, check the steering components. Mine had 150k and the rack and pinion steering ends were about to fall off when I bought it, should cost around $300 to repair. If your truck seems to wander/float down the road, take it in, that's the clue. Good luck with it, hope you enjoy it.

Ok, still more to add. If you need a topper/camper shell for it I have a fiberglass one sitting in the yard still, tan in color. New they are about 1200 and mine I am selling for $400.

Rear bumpers are as expected with toyotas, around $300-400 new and if you need one of those I still have a tundra rear bumper hanging around here, used of course
