As George already posted we made it home safely. Even with the blown tire, it was a very good trip. It was a little tiring but we will get rested up. It was a pleasure to have Will (IamSherwood) show us Sherwood Forest. It is a great peaceful setting and he has done wonders with his buildings. Not only does he do very good restores on his Massey's he is also quite the carpenter. Massey Hall looks even better in person. Hopefully the pics that George post will show how nice his work is. It was truly a pleasure meeting Will. He is a great guy and very generous host.

Very glad to hear things went pretty smooth. Especially being I had added some weight to the load. Guess I owe you for a tire!

Don't worry about the tire Daniel. With all of the heavy loads of firewood that George had hauled on the trailer I'm surprised something hadn't happened before. Will did have a bit of fun with George about the load. We had things positioned on the truck and trailer when Will said to George that we also had to load a big disc sitting behind the one tree. Will gave me a quick wink as George studied the disc.He didn't let him worry too long though.
Thank you to all the folks that posted about our safety on the trip. It was a trip to remember.

I'm glad Y'all made it back home safely, and only blowing a tire is a good trip in my book. I hope the Hog is going to be OK now that she is away from all those mean Massey's. :laughingteeth:

Glad you made it home Georges! I'll bet it feels good to be there after the long trip. Will strikes me as a gracious host, glad that all went well ( except for the blowout, but even that turned out OK).

My wife is making supper for us and George and his family ,so I had to make a trip to the store. I checked with George's wife to see if they needed anything. Turns out he was taking a nap. Apparently he is still as tired as me. But the good news is, after unloading the truck and the trailer George hooked the mower up to the Bush Hog and mowed a liitle grass. I told him to get the video camera and shot a short video of the tractor in action.
Once again thanks for all of the interest and some pics and a short video will eventually be posted.

Glad all is well. I never carry a spare with my trailer. I'm certain I can find a Walmart, Tractor Supply, or even a tire shop on the way.

Glad George got some seat time on his Hog though. Can't wait for the video, but I am sure I will have to. Just hope the video comes out before I get to see it in real life lol.
