I was bidding on 2 different items with only 1 minute between them. Now I have a complete power steering for my JD 140 Diesel conversion. Now I can get started on doing it, I had been waiting for a steering unit so I could make all the mods at once to get it all fitted under the hood.

Good deal Brian glad you got what you need.Just a quick question wouldn't a ps unit from a 400 be alot less mods to fit?

Bob, I hadn't thought about it that much. I was looking at the one on my 318 and thought it would work OK. What are your thoughts? I can always use this one on my 317.. :laughingteeth:

To be honest Brian i made a booboo. After my post i remembered how the 140 is setup. Now it would be real easy to adapt a 400 ps unit on a 317.Now if you could find the column mount from a 318 it would make it easier.

Thanks Bob, I will remember that when I do the 317. I will check with you and see if you have one.

Glad you won the goodies, Brian. I don't have a magnifying glass big enough to see the screen and do something like that. Hope all goes well with the unit!

Brian, I'm glad it's working well for you.

Just be careful. Too much of a good thing and all that. :laughingteeth:
