Last years show was in Ilderton. This years show is a bit east and north of Ilderton but I can't remember the name of the place. If I recall correctly, I used MapQuest and it was about the same travel time as Ilderton.

Yep, Doug T has it right. I just got off the phone with Jim Cunzenheim and that is the location and those are the dates he gave me. I also asked him why he had not updated the website. He told me that he has had an access issue with the site. After a few minutes of discussion with him, I urged him to telephone his web hosting people and tell them he is locked out. He's been wasting his time trying to get some buddies who are more computer literate than he is to figure it out but that went no where. Hopefully, Jim will get off the dime and get this done.

I wish that I had something ready to bring to the show but I'm woefully way behind. When I went to Ilderton last year, I was shocked by what I considered to be a rather poor turnout of lawn and garden tractors. I don't expect this show to be much better but I guess I can hope. Showing is not a cheap passtime anymore, it it ever was. Mitchell is about 2 hours from me so not only the gas cost is involved but also the accomodation costs for a 3 day show. I'm surprised that the association moved the show just a few miles instead of putting it perhaps east of Toronto to give the guys out that way a shot at showing what they got. The other major show is the Milton Steamshow. Last year Case was the featured marque but once again, Case and Colt GT's were non-existent. Thanks to Ted Browne, the Cookstown show always has a nice showing since Ted lives but minutes from there.

Obviously, you can't display at both shows but I will be attending both as a spectator. For me, one day is all I need to see what I want to see and take photos.
