Have a MF tractor with 16hp Onan in bad shape and parts missing. It is a BF-MS model and some are saying lots of later Sears tractors used those. SO, anybody with an engine or parts willing to sell? Need oil sump to start, head tins, maybe an intake and carb,or at least the carb. Haven't gotten into it much yet. Have manual coming. It's all stuck and not sure I'm gonna get it loose or not.

The bad thing about the BF/MS engines is that The pistons are NLA. The pistons are 3.125, if it has to be bored then you have to go to the standard B43 size piston of 3.25. Alot of other tractors used teh BF/MS engines. If you search on ebay for "onan bf" it will usually pull up alot of parts.

I have a B43 series I might be selling. Looking at getting rings for it right now, so I'll have to wait and see, but the thing does run like a top! Just smokes a bit and the valve job I spent $300 on didn't work for it..
