Here is a video of my Bolens 1250 tilling a garden for my neighbor. Everyone wants to see videos of Bolens tractors working so this is a long one! I am sure you will not be disappointed with the video if you are a 1250 fan.

I learned several things when doing this. The most important lesson I learned from reviewing the video and seeing it in operation is that I should have had the lever in the float position as it would have followed the contours better. I can't for the life of me figure out why I didn't do this as I knew better.

Nice job tilling, it looks like that ground hadn't been before. your ground loks a lot drier then my garden. Nice video, thanks for sharing..

I forgot how much faster those largeframe tillers spin compared to the tubeframes!

I am glad you appreciate the videos. I am surprised more people don't view them.... A lot of work goes into making them....editing etc.

Is faster better?


I would say the faster the tine rotation the faster the ground will get tilled up.
