So I got the Kubota the other day, and today it got up to about 45 degrees, and there was a foot tall patch of knapweed left over from last season when the 316 quit me. So I fired up that little 3 cylinder diesel, and gave it just a tad more than 1/3 throttle and headed into the knap patch. Man! That Bota diesel just whistled as it got in there and gutted that patch of knapweed. I mean totally "Butter"! I was thouroughly and utterly impressed I tell you! I can't even get $350 for the 316, so we decided to re ring it and keep it as a back up mower. I ain't gonna beg someone to take it! Posted Image

Good to hear your enjoying your Kubota. I believe the more you use it the more impressed your going to be. Clean the radiator screen after each use and the tractor will be as happy as you are.

Those little diesels have some surprising power don't they? Check out my gallery for the pic of my g5200 after blowing some snow last year, it's hard to stop it.

No it's like I say, I get it just above 1/3 throttle and you hear this slight whistling coupled with that pissed off, yet highly contained, growl! The 3 cylinder runs smoother than my John Deere 4 cylinder that is twice the size!

I got my new BX2360 4x4 in 2011 with FEL, box blade, 60" deck and and tiller. I use it for everything in the yard. I mow about 5 acres with it, haul dirt, I have tilled up about 50% of my back yard and leveled it and the only complaint I have is it runs hot in the summer in tall grass when I mow ditches. I have mulching blades on it. I took those off last fall and run normal temps. I really like it and would buy another one. But I like my red ones I'm working on just as much or more.
