I almost bought this for $,1700. It really does look nicer than in these photos. The kid really did a very nice job. I decided not to buy it when I cringed at the thought of pulling it out in the snow for a test drive. Just wouldn't have been right to use it for cutting my lawn. It needed to be in a show room. Please enjoy these photos. https://plus.google....610470505279809

That's a really nice restoration. I'm sure there are a lot of hours invested. It would be a hard sell for me because I'd rather do that work myself. It's worth the price if you consider what you could get for that much in a box store LT.

Yeah, My wife thought it was too much at $1,700 but my gosh it was actually nicer in person than those pictures hint at. The motor ran so nice. It really was a classic mower.

That is a very nice restoration. With the amount of time invested, it still looks like a bargain for a "new" 112.

Oh most certainly! You wouldn't believe the "crap" folks sell on craigslist around here in the $500 range. No, everything around my place, with the exception of my vintage audio gear, fulfills a very practical function, but if I had a vacuum sealed glass bubble, I'd have bought it for absolute sure. I just didn't think that my shop was a good place to be hanging out! It's a bit tight in there, and dirty! :smilewink:
