Hi everyone, I've been lurking for awhile, enjoying the good conversation and informative posts. We were at the CVAEMA show in Chambersburg for the spring show and a gentleman gave me a card with this site on it, what a great site. I thought I would introduce myself here cuz my main interest is in Bolens.
I have a 850 in pretty good shape and a 1050 that's in need of repair. When I bought the 850 I didn't realize what I was buying, I just bought it to pull a drag around to help level ground after putting in a new septic system. Wow! What a little workhorse the tractor turned out to be.
The 1050 I knew was in bad shape but it had a snowblower and a tiller that came with it, both implements in great condition which I use on the 850. The 850 gets quite a workout year round, blowing snow, pulling yard trailers and cars around and gets lent out from time time to time also.
Once again, this is a great site and thanks to all of you who spend your time to keep it going, Don

Welcome to the Forum stoney. Good to have another "Bolens Guy" in the crowd. Sounds like you put your 850 to good use! Having the tiller and blower is a big plus too.

Thanks everyone, York Springs Pa here. I would love to put up a few pics if I knew how. I haven't quite mastered that task yet, when I do I'll send some. I tried to put some on CL last week and the pics were to large and was taking to long so I tried to downsize them. When I finally did that they were kinda fuzzy. I'll figure it out someday.
The little tractor got a good workout last winter. Lots of snow here, it had to be 2' + in some places at times. It's a little tough to get thru the first pass but after that it wasn't to bad, had to have the wife knock it down with a shovel in some places. Seeing how our driveway is about a hundred yards long she got a pretty good workout too.
