Still waiting on some parts and still have painting to do. The paint takes the longest as i coat let sit for week then wet sand then paint again. ( I repeat that many times) Just figured I'd share. Thanks for the pics Chris. It looks like a great day there in RI. All the restores look first rate. The care you take in the painting pays off!

Wow Chris, that is some first class painting. I really like the Ariens. That and the rototiller are your dad's, right? If he hasn't seen them he's gonna love them. :good_job:

Thanks and yes I am doing those for my dad. He has seen them (I couldn't hide them from him) He loves looking at the pictures as I progress, I just got home from bringing him these lol. And he has already called to say how great they are looking LOL. And he already has plans on using the tractor when I finish it also. Maybe I can have one of my own someday :laughingteeth:

Ya, I feel your itch. I'm leaving next Thursday to see my brother, about 8 hours one way. He picked up a Cub for me a while back and this will be the first time I could get a couple days off to go get it. Arrghh. He drove it on the trailer when he got it and I'm guessing I'll have to clean out the carb and tank as soon as I get it home with this el'crappo gas they are forcing down our throats these days. Plan on visiting the Baltimore Aquarium and maybe the B&O Railroad museum when I'm there...Hmmm, I thought I was following that post, wonder why I didn't get an update? going looking...Good luck on your trip !
