It rained here off and on all weekend so my work schedule changed and had to cram everything into Monday and Tuesday. Monday I used my Snapper 1600 and turning plow to dig a 115 foot ditch and buried conduit and pulled the wire for our new hot tub. Yesterday the hot tub got here around 10 AM. I installed the 60 AMP Spa GFCI Breaker/Disconnect and dug the final 10 feet of ditch to bury the conduit and wires from the disconnect to the hot tub. Last night around 8:30 we pushed the button and it's up and running. Left it to run through it's programming and will do the water tests this morning and get ready to relax in it this evening. Can't wait. We've been wanting one for some time now and finally pulled the trigger. Had to turn on it's radio last night as we sat by it and enjoyed a cold one, or two. My son and his family came over to help which was a plus. I wouldn't have been through nearly as fast without his help. My 2 year old grandson even helped when it came to covering up the conduit and got good and muddy. Now to enjoy soaking these old bones. Here's a couple of links so you can see the hot tub we purchased.

PS: No, she didn't come with the purchase &^%$##(&%%.

OLDER??????? I'll be 67 in May and I'm a spring chicken.......or at least I feel like one now that I just climbed out of it for the first time. Money well spent and since it's over the hill and a mile to our back door neighbor and 3/4 mile to the east & west to next door neighbors and the tub is on the back porch we didn't even get our swimming suits wet.

Looks like a nice way to relax. Glad it's in and nothing to do but use it.

Did you get enough rain to make a difference vs the drought?

Sounds like a nice addition to your property. Now you can work on the GT's more since you have this to soothe the aching body.

Glad you got it picked up Brian. I saw where I missed your call, sorry, I was busy as a cat covering up poop. Hope it turns out to be a good one for you.

We got 2 1/2 inches over the weekend and my ground is in pretty good shape. Everything is green a pretty. Stock tanks in the area are not full yet by a long shot and they really need rain about 100 miles west of here to bring up the Highland Lakes to supply Austin and surrounding cities water and send some downstream to the rice farmers. Overall, it's looking better but they say it's going to be another dry summer.

Hey Steve, today I feel about 75, just got through working in the yard from about 9:15 to 5:45. That tub will feel good in a couple hours. Oh, just in case you didn't know it, I was messing with you on the OLDER bit.
