Well I finally got around to picking this tractor up.I called the guy about a month ago and was glad that he kept his word and held it for me till I could come get it.It has a god awful paint job on it,but the attachments all seem to be hardly used.I got a sleeve hitch, snowplow.garden plow, cultivator and disc which I believe are all Ohio Steel pieces. He said it ran when parked(heard that before)so I'll get around to it after I get back from Florida.P3130648.JPG P3130644.JPG P3130645.JPG P3130646.JPG P3130647.JPG P3130649.JPG P3130649.JPG P3130651.JPG P3130652.JPG

Well after soaking the cylinder with lawn mower tune up today I got it to run.The ignition switch is messed up wont shut off when turned off.It sounded good, but when I went to start it later it will not spin over fast enough to start. It acts like it has a clog in muffler as there is too much compressionI will leave it alone until I get back from vacation

Nice find!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that cultivator is a Brinly CC-500. If it IS an Ohio Steel one, it's a virtual clone of the Brinly.

I'm VERY glad to see that Ohio Steel Plow. When I picked up the tiller for my 1886 I got a plow from the guy as well.

It is pretty rusty, and doesn't have any markings on it that I can find. However it does have the same "tilt adjustment" setup as yours. Definitely different from the Brinly plow with the "crank".

Well I decided that the battery in this was no good so I robbed my 1254 and lo and behold the 1253 fired right up.The engine sounds good, but the noise from the driveshaft doesn't.The clutch pedal seems way out of adjustment and there has been some "butchery" to the pto.I shot a video if I can get it uploaded I will.I just had to hear it run before I leave for Florida in the am.....Apparently my video size was to large to upload.I'll try something different later.
