Your idea of "The One" seems to be evolving as we speak. I'm afraid by the time it's finished, it won't be the one. But, that just means you will have to build another "One". :laughingteeth:

This has become a pain in "the one" Been messing with some things. It did drive out of the shop on its own, The seat bracket is bent so im having a hard time getting anything aligned. Ive got to get another one before I go any further with the seat. Here are a couple pictures of the tractor and the audience.

Im still trying to figure where and how to put the battery. I dont like hanging it out front and under the seat wont work (1" to short) I didnt like the idea of motorcycle batteries. I looked at some locally but wasnt impressed.

Can you not fit the battery in the original space for it. Should go just behind the engine on the frame rails. It appears that there is still room for it there in the last picture. BTW, that is one darned fancy gas tank!

lol thanks. I cant put the battery in the oem location. I added the gear reduction steering. That gear box is bigger and doesnt allow enough space.

No luck finding a cheap drive pulley. I hate the steel pulleys but for next to nothing I built my own. Choose the pulley choose the hub and weld. Worked great and let me get the drive bent installed.

I got the seat pan mounted and am working on playing with seat mounting. If the seat pan looks high is because it is. Is spaced high because I need the room for hydraulics and I've been know to smash my fingers between the pan and tire when plowing.

Glad you have things going your way. I'm sure you will have a good time at the plow day. That will make all this well worth doing!

No money to finish this. Motor stays in the shop. Chassis goes to the barn. I'll bring it back out in the spring. I got enough done to create some thoughts over the winter.

Time to get back on this. I just sold the roper and all the Sears attachments so I've got a little money to spend. I should have this bad boy back in the shop this weekend. I wish the hp was a little higher on this diesel I've got. It would be a good choice for repower.
