MH81 and I picked up a dump cart off of Craigslist on Sunday last. We've been puzzling ever since who made it. Oddly enough, a logo revealed itself this evening under my trouble light that we couldn't see in the really bright beautiful sunshine yesterday. I snapped some pics of it and I'm hoping that there's enough of it for someone to recognize the general shape and tell us who's label it was. I'm warning you that it's really rough and hard to see! Good luck!

There's a few smaller discernible letters underneath on the right end of the main "logo" lettering that may be a better clue.

And just to be thorough, I'll attach some pics of the latch pedestal as this seems to be the best way to differentiate different brands.

Odds are that it was BUILT by Brinly, Agri-Fab, or Ohio Steel, and just has someone else's brand sticker on it.

ETA:

Looking closer, I'd hazard a guess that it was built by Ohio Steel.

The CURRENT Agri-Fab and Brinly carts use a V-Brace to support the front of the bed where it rests on the tongue, while the current Ohio Steel carts use the single vertical pedestal like your's.

That's assuming that they "always did it that way".

Looks exactly like the 17 cu-ft cart I got at Home Depot in Saginaw about 20 years ago. Mine has 16x6.5-8 tires, a black tongue, and never did have a logo.

I have a rusted hulk that has a similar, spring loaded latch, but I'm certain theres no label. (Perhaps a Sears) I will, however take a look at first light.
I have an appointment at 7AM to begin cutting a swath to get the 442 out and can't be late

I can't read/see it, but it looks embossed. Have you tried taking a piece of paper and a pencil and doing a rubbing? Works just like in the old detective movies when they get a phone number off a notepad.

I can't make anything out on it. Think I'll agree with OldBuzzard on the Ohio Steel brand, because of the latch.

Did you see the news this morning? Google is hiring more people to try to analyze why there was an influx of image searches for "Red Dump Cart" or derivations thereof. :laughingteeth:

I stared at those pics and decided it's maddeningly close to enough to figure it out...

By looking at the decal, I think that you have a Land Lord bagging cart. To me the L in each word look larger in size and the lower part of the letter L goes under the next three letters in both words.

This is just my guess. Am I close?

I GOT IT!!!!
Now I can stop racking my brain over it!
Here's a link to a pic of another one! Click here It's a brand called "Load Hog" that I've never heard of before. I decided to put some water on it and was able to make out the first word and the first letter of the last.

I never made out any letters in the pics, guess it's time for new specs.
