Thanks! I am planning on restoring it very soon. I have been buying a few things here and there for it but I have just been enjoying the tractor as is right now. I bought new decals from Hank Watkins and found a correct NOS kohler muffler that I picked up from ebay. This tractor sat for almost 30 years untouched in a barn before I was able to save her at the estate sale. I couldn't bare to watch someone buy it for scrap so I made sure I went home with it lol. A couple hours of cleaning, a new spark plug, and some fresh gas later she fired right up. I am still in contact with the original owners daughter and she loves when I send her updated pics of the tractor.
Here is how I found it lol bolens.jpg bolens3.jpg

nice old tractor, It was a great day here in Indiana also. I cleaned up around the barn. Loaded up some scrap metal in the old 67 ford 250 to take to town when the price gets right. Keep us informed on the resto on the 58 tractor.

That is a nice old toy. I have my eye on one of those not far from my home. About 8 years ago he had a home made front bucket and make shift hydrolics on it, and was advertising it for 600. Now it is in pieces in his yard. not sure if he has the deck but there is a blade for the front. I can never catch him home though, but I will keep trying. I'm thinking a couple of bills may take it.

lol well....

I have been looking for months for this exact muffler and finally lucked out. I am going all original and NOS with any replacement parts that are needed which so far has been very few. I really lucked out with the steering arm I found being NOS as well. This ol girl is getting the royal treatment on her restoration LOL :laughingteeth:
