My engine caught on fire after mowing yesterday. Talk about scaring the crap out of me. Well, turn out my muffler is completely shot and the leaking exhaust caught a hose on fire. Got it torn apart and the muffler has to be replaced. There is not one on Ebay. Cant find one anywhere else either.

Where is the best place to look? Thanks for any help.

EDIT- I finally found some online for $200! Cant do that. I ended up doing a whole lot of welding, patching this one up and at least its not leaking anymore.

i have a buddy that has a used one that he may sell but i have know idea how long it will last . it has no holes but it is just as old as the one you have now most likely . i know the new mufflers are high but it will probably last another 20 - 30 years im guessin . im not sure how long they last but the muffler in my 400 looks to be the muffler it came out with its beat up dented and if it is its 42 years old .

if you want ill see if he wants to sell it and i will let you know .
