I found a 782D on Craig's. I spoke to the owner. It has a 50" deck, snow blower and sims cab. The listed price is 2600. He stated the hour meter was broken and showed around 500 hrs. He said it was repainted a year before he bought it 5 years ago. He said it has a Kubota 3 cyl diesel.

It is a neat tractor and the additional pictures look good. It's more than I would consider for an older garden tractor, providing I don't know anything about that model.

Anyone here know anything about them and should I reconsider?

Thanks

You gotta get it. I would love to have a 782D. You can't beat the Kubota diesel in it. The price is probably about right especially with a snow blower and cab. I would still try and negotiate but even at full asking price it is worth it. You gotta post a ton of pics if you get it.

If in good condition and ready to go...NO problems, then that's a good price!
