Chuck, glad you and Daniel are safe. A shelter in tornado country could be life saving indeed. It could be a good project for you, just one more little addition to your to do list.

Hope all members in the storm area come out ok.

Well, weather got bad here near home while I was at my dairy meeting in Bowling Green, Ky. Got word at the meeting a tornado hit my home town 10 miles from my house. Just as I was going to leave early, city tornado sirens went off, so we headed back into the convention area. Sent us all in the service hallway till it blew over. Then we came straight home. Destroyed several homes & lots of roof damage & the like. 10 miles further up the road, a group of warehouses belonging to Harry Owen Trucking were wiped out, and Dow Corning got damaged. My son in law works night shift there, so he was at home when it hit. No word of anyone hurt at this time. Not a twig out of place here at home though, so quite lucky. My daughter was at school & the tornado destroyed those homes no less than 1/8th mile from her school! They were all hunkered in the school hallway & the whole town without power. Was a wild day, and worrisome being I was away.

News links to the damage in Hodgenville, 10 miles from me.

Oh, and found out not all the trucking warehouses were destroyed, but it is a mess and at least 3 large buildings are gone there.

My area is under the gun again tomorrow. Possible large hail, high winds, and isolated tornado's.

Us too.. I read where one local forecaster has said "question for Fri is not if there will be a tornado, but where and how strong - encourage all in SIL to be aware of FX updates "
