I was just watching the news and saw the devastation in the mid-west after the tornadoes. I really hope everyone on here and there families are doing fine. I can't imagine what you all are going through.

Yeah, he reported in earlier & all is well. It went kind of all around him but they came thru fine. I'll let him fill in the details tomorrow.

Just done a count of members in the 7 effected states. There appears to be 118 members. Hope they all make out as well as Daniel

The devastation in that area was hard to watch on the news. This is not the time of year that these folks should have to worry about tornadoes. With our unusual weather patterns, it has become extremely difficult to predict who will be hit with the next unusual weather event. I just hope that our members in the affected areas are are safe and sound. Our prayers go out to those folks in the areas hit by the tornadoes and hope that they gain strength, knowing that they are in our prayers.

So glad to hear that all went well with the latest weather scare. There are enough things that happen in your neck of the woods without problems with tornadoes. Glad to know that everything should be OK Daniel. Please let us know.

Some of that mess started in our area of NW Arkansas last night at bedtime. Finally blew through by about 1:30 am this morning, got pretty wild just north of us Missouri, especially in and around the Branson area. I hope to get some better sleep tonight. Prayers go out to our neighbors to the north and east.

I am fine the worst was south of us. Harrisburg, IL was the hardest hit in IL, I am about 60 miles north/northeast from there.

We didn't get much wind or rain out of the system. Thanks for your concern.

Edit: If i wasn't nursing a messed up hand I would probably try to go down there and help, but SWMBO doesnt want me running a chain saw right now.

Easier said than done, I have a to do list this mocks me daily, but I am doing my best to not over do it.

Okay back to the topic of the storms, this round of storms has me thinking about building a tornado shelter again. As of now our safe place is the bathroom on the main floor.
