Scott I wish you and your family strength to deal with the days that are before you. Hospice can be an amazing resource, and there are probably other resources in your area as well if you need them.

Thanks for all the warm responses and prayers. He is doing as well as can be expected and seems to be in no pain. For that we are very grateful.
He is going to a better place. That I am sure of.

As I get older.....words have different meaning.....I use to think of RIP as a cool gunslinger kind of term for those that had passed....after watching 2 people that have been close to me slowly pass away these past few months(both with diseases).....Rest In Peace....has a total different meaning to me.....the emphasis now is on the words "rest" and "peace"........I know they will.
