We just got another blast of snow. The last few days have been mild so a pond has formed beside our house. I spent 4 hours spraying water on it yesterday to get it smooth for skating. The kids got a storm day from school, so of course they want to go skating. I guess I'll go fire up the 800 and blow a patch for them to skate. Seat Time!!!!!

I hope the kids have fun. We haven't had any snow other then a dusting the one day and maybe 3" on the grass on another day. It has been unseasonably warm the last couple of days.

Trent,
Sounds like fun for the kids.We here in N.S. still do not have much snow on the ground. At least not here in the Valley.

Trent, I hope the pond gives the kids hours of enjoyment. It is always nice to have them outside doing something constructive.

So here we are , 1 week later. We had one heck of a night last night with strong warm winds and real heavy rain. Two days ago the kids were skating here and today they are canoeing. In a few months I'll be mowing there since it is actually lawn not a pond. They got alot of looks from passers by but they had fun though and that is all that matters.

Thank's for the pictures. They made me smile. Looks like they are having a blast out there on your 'pond'.
