I have a question? I have seen the hub cap option for bolens tractors from the 1967 adds and they have no bolens printed on them. my 1050 came with these hub caps. Are the Bolens printed hub caps from a later date? Thanks Steve....

Yes, Bolens used the blank caps up until around 1972 I Believe
Then sometime around 1973/1974 They started using the caps with Bolens printed in them

I think you are making a wise choice Steve. Brian (Bolens 1000 ) is a wealth of knowledge and likes to keep things true to original. His restorations are proof that he follows this motto.
