Those are really interesting. Ever since I was a kid I've enjoyed looking at cut away's like that.

I'm not a gravely guy but I'm quite certain these were used for promotional purposes at the dealer show rooms.
I seen one like this a few years ago.... It brought a decent chunk of change when it was on ebay.

That's pretty cool! I have only seen one other cut away, it was a small horizontal shaft briggs. It was probably only 3hp.

Hey,now that is pretty neat.I remember years ago having a Wankle engine cut away.

Maybe you could also post this in the EBay/etc area. Someone who lives close enough to go get it should own that. I had only ever seen the one. Only thing missing on it looks to be the axels... I'm sure it's worth quite a bit, more than 5, that's for sure.
