Depending on the situation when asked to make an offer I usually say "I can either sell it or buy it but I can't do both.".

:bigrofl: I've heard that one before, but it never seems to come to mind when I need it!

Hey Guys I always want the seller to tell me what they want first. Then from that point on we can haggle over price.I thing that I think is crazy.I write articles for lagt so now when I go to buy something at a show or on craiglist. The people say hey you look like I should know you.So that throws a curve ball into picking. Most of the time I have to tell them i write for lagt. They normally just laugh and tell how they like my articles. If a guy is high on a price and I feel that it is not worth his asking price.I will just say it is not what am looking for and walk away. There is no reason to insalt someone. There is always another tractor or attachment. You live and learn the more you buy and sell.later Josh :D

olcowhand! That was my first laugh of the day! thank you! lol!

I recently went to a house to "pick" a Bolens Lawn Master which you don't find much in this area, and I got a deal on it! They guy also had under a tarp (yes I looked under it) a nice Power King and all the attachments. He's near ready to sell that too when I asked him about it. This happened last week.....my first REAL pick! :)

When you click in the reply box, there's a tab at the bottom that says "more reply options" click on that and you will see the up-loader at the bottom of the window. If you're still having trouble, you can also Click Here and watch the help video!

I haven't been able to pick anything yet. Anything I have bought so far was either word of mouth or advertised on craigslist or ebay.
