Lately we have had alot of discussions about Ride a Matic decals. Some of you may had heard of Hank Watkins also aka "Old Bolens Guy". He is the go to guy for Ride a Matic and Ridemaster questions and reproduction decals. Ive seen Ride a Matic decals for sale at Vintage Repoductions, but those are just for the hood. Hanks decals (I know for the 59-62) are a complete set including the shift and variable speed. Hank is retired and dosnt run a business, just had a local shop remake as many decals as he could. Prices are very affordable for a complete set. Hank dosnt own a computer and is only available by phone. PM me for a number. He also runs an add in the VGTCA where you can find his contact info
  • Bolens 1000, grand, mjodrey and 2 others have said thanks

I actually just called him yesterday and ordered a complete set for my 1958 ride a matic. The complete set was $25 + $5 shipping which I think is very reasonable.

Does anyone have the phone number for Hank Watkins? He runs an add in the VGTCA newsletter for Bolens decals. If anybody has a copy of it and could PM his number it would be greatly appreciated.

His decals are fantastic. Just got a set for my 59 afew months back. You can see by my pictures they look great. He also has alot of knowledge on the bolens tractors. Wish there was a way to capture that knowledge and get it to this site. Thanks for all the great knowledge and help.

Thats the only way to contact him. I have spent many hours on the phone with him. Would like to go visit him to see his collection and gain some of his knowledge on these tractors.
