I just closed the deal on a Sears David Bradley 725. Put a deposit on it and will be picking it up after my next paycheck :)

It has the original engine and a savable deck (visable in the pic with the parts unit).
Also, most of a front blade.
He said it ran before he stole the pull starter off it.

I also got a parts rig with it.

In the pile was a pair of HH100 or 120 engines with points. One free, one stuck. The stuck one had the starter & bracket I needed to put on the Sears 10 I got a month ago. :dancingbanana:

Way to go Alan, glad you found this great little Sears GT. I know you will do a good job getting her back on shape. Can't wait for the updates.

OMG.

Well, now you've gone and done it Alan.
I gotta hand it to ya. You got balls.

To buy a GT, and post it here, with your son watching, and hoping the wife doesn't find out?

You might as well give Ryan the MH81 now.

Nice score BTW.
Sit on it while you still can. Because, it's gonna hurt down there soon. :worshippy1:

Alan, I think maybe this should be in the Prayers Needed thread! Great find, And yes, maybe you and the misses should watch Courageous, Fireproof, and Facing the Giants all in one night! After that maybe break her the news! God Bless, Shawn

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....I think that the SET** is going to be high on that one!

** SET Tax – Spousal Equity Tax. If you’re lucky, it only amounts to 100 percent of the cost of whatever it was you bought without SWMBO’s blessing. Usually in the form of new furniture, carpets, a complete remodel, or even a new house.
