Man, this is February and I just took a lap around the neighborhood of 9 miles. If I wasn't so tired, I'd have ridden a while longer. It got up to 72 degrees today in south central KY! Way weird! Oh well, the short ride was fun & the bike needed a jog.

That is awesome you got to get out on the bike for a short cruise. The weather has been a little weird but I will take the warmer weather. Helps cut down on the heating costs.

Today and yesterday it was in the low 50s here. Its been getting warmer and for the last 3 weeks or so I have been able to go on a bike ride. Yesterdays ride was just over 8 miles.

Rode mine to work yesterday, little brisk in the morning, but was nice going home. I was gonna ride it in again today but it rained last night. I don't mind the rain and water so much but there's a lot of salt on the roads because they thought it was going to snow. I don't want all that salt to get in places that are hard to clean. I ride mine a decent amount in the winter, but when it gets much below freezing this ol' body just can't take it anymore.

Daniel you deserve a good ride everyday with all the irons you have in the fire. I'm glad you could get out and enjoy yourself for a little while. Snowing and windy here right now. Yes I envy you.

I rode mine to work today. It wasn't as warm as your place Daniel, but I will take it for February. Then when I got home, my daughter wanted to go for a ride. She just got her learners permit, and I have a borrowed bike for her. I ended up riding about 50 miles in all.

I haven't had a MC for 30 years and I still get the urge for one every year at about this time. It's nice to hear about you guys getting out for a ride.

That had to be great to get the bike out in February and go for a ride. What a pleasant break from the farm.

You will see a couple motorcycles in those kind of temps now & then here. But most likely that is all they own & if they had a car/truck, they'd been hauling that bike on a trailer! Then there are those hard core bikers that will ride no matter the conditions. I am not one of them! LOL

Maynard, I remember one time back when I was young and foolish a friend and I decided to go dirt biking in the kingston area on all those sandy trails. You can still see some of those trails from the 101 to this day. It was just above freezing and we spent all day playing around in the sand up there. I nearly froze solid on the ride home. We had street/trail bikes and drove there and back. When the MC bug bites you'll ride in just about any conditions.
