Does anyone have pictures of a MF10 or MF12 with a sickle mounted on it? The only picture or info that I have is in a sales brochure. From the picture it looks like a very entailed setup with what looks like two drive belts.

Were the sickle mowers used on the Massey's also made by Haban? For some reason I think they were but I am not completely sure. I think I have a pic or two floating around in the gallery from some of the shows with a Massey or two with a sickle mower mounted up.

Haban made a sickle mower for the MF10/12. I sure would love to get my hands on one of those.

Yes, the sickle mowers are definitely not an attachment you see everyday.

Thank's for the pic's. Here is the picture of the setup that looks different. There is a mule drive or something on the front that has a belt and a rod (lever) that goes up and ends by the hydro shifter. I don't see a foot pto pedal so maybe there were two type of setups. IMGP1771

I see it, to only have a setup just like that would be awesome. Amazing how they had to run the pto belt to drive it.

Hey Bud

Here are a couple pics of a Massey 14 with a sicle on it.

That's mine.
The sickle on there is a Haban 416A. It was built to fit on a JD140. I had to make up custom hanger brackets to make
it fit on the MF14, and to be able to use the deck lift cylinder to raise and lower the sickle cutter. It sure is fun to use.

Sure would like to find one of those puppies for the right price. I think they're one of the neatest attachments you can have.
